Tarot & Tempest is an independent sample and preset pack store founded by former Never Say Die artist Oddprophet. We focus on delivering high-quality sounds for heavy bass producers while supporting underground artists both creatively and financially through sponsorships.

How does the artist get paid?

Sponsored artists receive an upfront advance based on projected sales commissions from the store. Every time someone buys a product, the artist earns a percentage of that sale. By downloading this track and browsing the store, you’re directly supporting the artist and helping them earn even more.

Is this a label?

This isn’t a label. Tarot & Tempest doesn’t take royalties or ownership of artist's music. Sponsored artists keep full rights and can distribute their music freely. Tarot & Tempest pays artists a percentage of sales generated through store traffic and provides an advance ranging from $50 to $1000+.

Why sponsor artists instead of signing them to a label?

Upfront payments offer financial security for upcoming artists — guaranteed income from their work without waiting on streaming payouts. Many artists we sponsor wouldn’t typically have access to this kind of funding. What's in it for us? The store receives advertising and traffic from hosting the song. Think of it like how Red Bull sponsor athletes! 

How can I get sponsored?

We’re always scouting for potential artists, especially those with an existing SoundCloud following. However, as the sponsorship program is currently in a trial phase, we’re not accepting applications at this time. If the program continues, we’ll reach out directly to eligible artists.
